On June 29th, the sanctuary at EFC Newport was filled with love, laughter, and heartfelt goodbyes as we celebrated and commissioned the Hoffman family into their next calling.

On June 19th, our Oasis Youth Group hit the road for a special day of celebration and adventure at Six Flags New England—a graduation gift for our high school seniors and a time of bonding for our students.

On June 15th, we took time as a church family to honor the dads of EFC with our annual Donuts with Dad celebration—just in time for Father’s Day!

We are delighted to announce that Pastor Phil Curtis has been voted in by our congregation as EFC’s Interim Pastor, effective Sunday, July 28, 2025, following the congregational meeting held on June 8th.

On June 8th, we gathered as a church family to honor and celebrate the faith journeys of our children and youth at EFC’s Family Ministry Graduation.

Every second Wednesday of the month, a faithful team from Evangelical Friends Church Newport gathers in downtown Newport to serve at the soup kitchen hosted at First Presbyterian Church, located at 4 Evert Street.

On Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 10, 2025, we gathered together at Evangelical Friends Church Newport to celebrate the incredible women who fill our lives with love, wisdom, and faith.

With heartfelt emotion, we share that Rev. Dr. Paul A. Hoffman, who has faithfully served as our pastor since 2007, has been called by God into a new season of ministry.

On April 19, 2025, our church family at Evangelical Friends Church Newport had the joy of hosting a vibrant and love-filled Easter Egg Hunt Outreach for the local community. It was an unforgettable day of fun, fellowship, and faith.
