Men’s Breakfast
The men's breakfast is on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays at the Newport Creamery in Middletown at 7:30 am. No need to RSVP; you are welcome to just show up with your Bible ready to study. Contact the church for more information at connect@efcnewport.com.
Promotion Sunday
Children's Ministry resumes on Sunday, August 9, at 9:30 a.m. with our full Sunday morning program for children, including Nursery (4 months) through 5th grade.
August 9 is also Promotion Sunday, when children move up to their new classrooms based on the grade they will be entering this fall. For example, if your child is starting 1st grade this school year, they will attend the 1st grade classroom beginning that Sunday.
We are excited to welcome all of our children back, introduce them to their new teachers, and begin another wonderful year of learning and growing together!
EFC Orientation
EFC Orientation takes place throughout the month of August and is a great opportunity to learn more about everything EFC Newport has to offer. Whether you're looking for a Bible Study, a place to serve, or ways to connect with others, this is the perfect time to explore the ministries of our church.
Each week, you'll hear from two ministry leaders during the service, and after the service you'll have the opportunity to visit ministry tables in the fellowship hall, ask questions, and connect with leaders personally.
We believe that every member of the body of Christ has a unique role to play, and that as each person serves and grows, we all become more like Christ together. We look forward to helping you get connected and find your place in the EFC Newport family!
Community Meal
EFC Newport hosts a community meal every second Wednesday of the month at the First Presbyterian Church in Newport, RI from 5-6pm. Please contact the church office for more information on how you can help serve at the community meal.

Church Out
Church Out is our annual community outreach event—a special Sunday each year when, instead of gathering for our regular worship service, we go out into our community to be the hands and feet of Jesus through acts of service.
This year, there are several ways to get involved, including community cleanup teams, distributing bagged lunches in Washington Square Park, serving on a prayer team, and packing and delivering baked goods to our local fire and police stations.
All teams will meet with their team leader at 9:30 a.m., and everyone will gather together at 11:00 a.m. in Washington Square for a time of worship, testimonies, and celebration as we reflect on what God has done throughout the morning.
If you haven't signed up for a team yet, there's still time! Email admin@efcnewport.com to get connected and join us as we serve our community together.
