Honoring the Heart of Our Homes: Muffins with Mom
On Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 10, 2025, we gathered together at Evangelical Friends Church Newport to celebrate the incredible women who fill our lives with love, wisdom, and faith. Our special Muffins with Mom event was a sweet way to express our deep appreciation for the mothers and mother figures in our community.
The morning was filled with warm smiles, meaningful conversations, and the comforting aroma of fresh muffins. We prepared a beautiful display of flowers and a delightful spread of muffins—offering a peaceful moment for moms to feel seen, cherished, and celebrated. From young children proudly escorting their mothers to joyful reunions across generations, the atmosphere radiated gratitude and joy.
At EFC, we believe in honoring the women who reflect Christ’s love through their grace, strength, and steadfast faith. Whether biological moms, spiritual moms, grandmothers, mentors, or caregivers—each woman has a vital role in nurturing hearts and pointing others to Jesus.
Thank you to everyone who made this moment so memorable. We are grateful to walk this journey of faith together, hand in hand with the women who lead and love so well.
